The UEC proudly represents 142 members from 25 different UEFA national associations, including 18 clubs participating in the qualifying rounds of the UEFA Club Competitions for the 2024-25 season. The meeting covered a range of important topics and set a strong foundation for future activities.

Representatives from 11 of the 16 Board members attended, including Union Saint-Gilloise, Lokomotiva Zagreb, Shamakhi FK, Norwich City, Fair Game, FK Jenis,  FK Metta, FC Eindhoven, Universitatea Craiova, Osasuna and Haverfordwest County. The UEC was also represented by Gareth Farrelly (CEO), and William Martucci (Director of Operations).

A new communications strategy was presented to enhance the visibility and engagement of the UEC within the football community. The strategy aims to create a more cohesive and dynamic presence for the organisation and to help clarify and promote its mission and objectives.

Significant progress in building relationships with key stakeholders was highlighted, with discussions on how to further strengthen these ties in the future. The UEC continues its efforts to maintain and expand its contacts with EU institutions, which have been instrumental in supporting the organisation's initiatives. Financial reports for the first two seasons of the UEC's development were also presented, providing an overview of its financial stability.

Strategy working groups were discussed, with agreements on the next steps and the decision-making process for creating clear policies for the future of European football. The process will involve all members in a transparent and inclusive manner, ensuring that the diverse interests of European football clubs are represented.

The next UEC event, including the General Assembly and Board meeting, is scheduled for October. This event will be a crucial opportunity to review progress, discuss future strategies, and continue building on the foundations laid at this meeting.
