What we stand for:

  • Providing a voice for European professional clubs of all sizes
  • Support for the European model of sport and UEFA as the sole organiser and regulator of pan-European competitions
  • Stronger consideration for fans and their expectations for the future of the game
  • Development of a fair and sustainable model for the Women's game

Proposals for the future of the game:

  • To replicate the one club/one vote principle embedded in UEFA’s statutes where each National Association has one vote in a secret ballot
  • To secure formal recognition from UEFA and integration in the decision-making process
  • To collaborate with all stakeholders in European football
  • To become a member of the European Commission Social Dialogue Commitee and to work closely with EU institutions on policy goals such as anti-racism,health and social cohesion
  • To develop a tailored working model for the Women’s game together with dedicated experts

Proposals for the future of the game:

  • To protect the open UCC access system based on results in domestic leagues in the previous season
  • To protect weekends for domestic leagues and to resist any increase in UCC matchweeks in 2027-30
  • To reform the UCC revenue distribution system in 2027-30: higher and new solidarity mechanisms, improved balance between competitions and reduction of coefficient and market pool payments
  • To distribute a fair percentage of revenue generated by international club competitions and major national team tournaments to clubs who have trained and developed the participating players

Competitive Balance

What we stand for:

  • Sporting merit and mobility to allow overachievers to move up at all levels of the sporting hierarchy
  • Protection of domestic leagues as the main pillars of European club football
  • Balanced format, access system and revenue distribution models for UCCs
  • Improved solidarity solutions
  • Recognition of the interdependency between clubs of all sizes

Financial Sustainability

What we stand for:

  • Support for UEFA’s new financial sustainability regulations
  • Protection and rewards for clubs who develop players, in accordance with European sport values
  • Regulation of the player agent’s market inline with the core objectives of the football transfer system
  • Regulation and control of harmful ownership structures for European football

Proposals for the future of the game:

  • To implement an effective and fair system of sanctions against clubs breaching UEFA’s financial sustainability rules
  • To create incentive rewards for clubs meeting financial sustainability criteria
  • To develop an adequate player injury insurance and compensation for clubs releasing players for youth level national team competitions
  • To award training compensation based on the highest category within any MCO structure
